Legal and Public Services Programs
Helping others may be the greatest calling any of us can experience. If you want to help others through a career in emergency services or the law, our Legal and Public Services programs can start you on your path. Faculty members are experienced experts who have forgotten more about these fields than most people ever know. There’s no one better to learn from.
Fire Science
Learn to serve on the frontlines of any fire. In this program, you will recognize and identify various types of fire behavior, develop skills in extinguishing structure and wildland fires, identify hazardous materials, develop rescue techniques, and other skills you need to be a successful firefighter.
Law Enforcement Technology
Become a successful law enforcement officer. Practice criminal and accident investigations, patrol procedures, firearms training, arrests, evidence collection and preservation, criminology, and many other skills you need.
Paralegal/Legal Assistant
Participate in all aspects of a law firm. Learn and practice legal research and writing, litigation and civil procedures, principles of evidence, contracts, family law, and other skills that employers want. Your internship places you in a law office to put classroom instruction to the test.
