Western Dakota Tech Student Government Association supports the WDT Campus Lions Club. Lions Club International is a service organization and is an exciting addition to campus life and student opportunity. This new club will enjoy one year of sponsorship through the Rapid City Evening Star Lions and two year mentorship by Sharon Martin and Kevin Martin.As an international organization, there are membership dues of $19.50 for students 30 years or younger (with no Charter Fee) and $39 for those over 30 (Charter Fee $10). Evening Star has committed to our WDT students Lions and will be paying all fees and dues over the amount of $20/student regardless of age.
Your Student Government Association offers a further support of $10/student demonstrating an interest and commitment to this new club. This offer is extended to 20 students. If you are interested in joining and would like SGA to sponsor $10 of your fees (leaving all students interested with a total commitment of $10 until December 2010), please apply here or print this application and submit to either Rae Getz or Sharon Martin.

Rapid Ride to Service Western Dakota Tech Beginning August 3, 2009 the Rapid City bus will service Western Dakota Tech’s Mickelson campus. This is an “on-demand” deviation of the regular Jefferson Route.Passengers needing to arrive at WDT, will inform their driver (Jefferson Route [SE Leg-Northbound only]) and a call from the WDT campus will alert the driver to deviate back for pick up on the next scheduled Jefferson Northbound bus.Approximate “on-demand” arrival times @ WDT are 6:44am, 7:44am. 8:44am… and continue on the hour to 5:44pm.Go to Rapid Ride for all route details. |
