Mission Statement
The Rapid City Student Coalition is a collective body consisting of local post-secondary schools working together to voice the concerns of their students in an effort to foster collaboration between post-secondary schools and work with local officials and organizations to improve the community.

                            PREAMBLE
We, the higher education students of Rapid City and the surrounding area, in order to provide an effective united student voice, establish this Constitution with special attention given to the following goals:
   1. The Rapid City Student Coalition shall provide a community and communication network in which students, faculty, administration, staff, alumni, and elected officials will work in concert to solve problems.
   2. The Rapid City Student Coalition shall endure students' representation in decisions affecting the quality of student life and education for all higher education students in Rapid City and the surrounding area.
   3. The Rapid City Student Coalition shall take a leadership role in educating the students of Rapid City and surrounding area on the importance of participating in the governing of their campus and local community.     
   4. The Rapid City Student Coalition shall remember that it is an elected body chosen to represent the higher education students of Rapid City and the surrounding area and is required to defend the interest of the students.
