USGBC STUDENT GROUP
AT Western Dakota Tech

The purpose of the WDT USGBC Students Group:

• To cultivate leadership skills among USGBC Students group members that will prepare them to champion sustainability on campus, in their community and in future careers.
• To promote understanding, adoption and use of environmental  sustainability practices across  Western Dakota Tech and our communities.
• To foster study and research in the fields of environmentally sustainable :
• building and operation of buildings
• Conservation through land  and resource usage
• Renewability in both energy and our consumer purchases
• To develop better public understanding and appreciation of the challenges and solutions posed by improved sustainable building practices and the sustainable operation of existing buildings.
