WDT Alumni Association

wide2WDT is fast becoming one of the premier technical education institutions in South Dakota. The WDT Alumni Association represents more than 8,000 alumni across South Dakota and the country.

As an integral part of the college community, the association establishes, encourages, and maintains a beneficial relationship between WDT and alumni. Additionally, the association serves as a resource group from which WDT receives political and financial support and from which the administration seeks input and advice.

WDT has a great tradition of helping students succeed through a variety of ways. The WDT Foundation awards over $120,000 each year in scholarships and has embarked on an aggressive fundraising plan to increase funding for scholarships. The Growing Our Capacity for the 21st Century Annual Campaign will kick off September, 2014. Our first Alumni Association event is planned for Thursday, September 4th at Main Street Square. The Alumni Association goal of raising $1,500 for a new WDT Alumni Association Scholarship is part of this ambitious goal. Your generous gift will allow us to continue helping students in need. Over 80% of WDT students rely on financial aid to complete their studies.

Please consider making an annual or monthly gift to the Alumni Association to support the WDT Alumni Association Scholarship. Any amount is appreciated and 100% of your gift will go directly to help students learn the skills needed for success in the workforce in the 21st Century.
