Explore Your Future Career Possibilities During Visit Night on Tuesday, July 14

Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC) invites prospective students, families, and community members to attend College Visit Night on Tuesday, July 14, with check-in beginning at 5 p.m.

Attendance is free, and advance registration is encouraged at wdt.edu/visit. Registering helps WDTC personalize each visitor’s experience and provide information tailored to their interests. Those considering attending are encouraged to attend this event and register now, as the next College Visit event will not take place until April 2027.

Whether you're a high school student planning your next step, a recent graduate, or someone considering a career change, College Visit Night is an opportunity to discover how WDTC can help turn career goals into reality.

Guests will have the chance to explore WDTC’s nearly 40 career-focused programs, meet instructors, connect with admissions staff, and tour the college’s state-of-the-art labs and learning spaces. Information about scholarships, financial aid, and off-campus housing will also be available.

“College Visit Night is a great opportunity for prospective students to experience WDTC firsthand,” said Shealyn Johnson, WDTC Admissions Specialist. “Visitors can explore our programs, ask questions, meet faculty, and see how WDTC prepares graduates for rewarding, great-paying, in-demand careers.”

“This is the last College Visit event of 2026, so we encourage anyone thinking about their next step to join us,” Johnson added. “In addition to touring campus and learning about our programs, attendees benefit from the group experience. Often, someone else asks a question they hadn’t thought of, helping them leave with a broader perspective on what WDTC has to offer.”
