High school juniors and seniors interested in exploring career options are invited to attend the free, one-day All-Program Camp at Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC). This hands-on career exploration experience will take place on the WDTC campus from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 19. Lunch will be provided.
This popular camp is designed for students who are still deciding what career path is best for them. This provides them the opportunity to identify their top 4 programs of interest out of the over 40 WDTC options. Registration is open now to the first 150 students at wdt.edu/camps.
During the camp, students will be able to explore top WDTC programs of their choice, gaining a closer look at career fields that align with their interests. WDTC programs prepare students for some of the region’s fastest-growing careers, many of which appear on the South Dakota Department of Labor’s Top 30 Hot Careers list. These careers are identified as being in high demand and offering strong earning potential. Additional information is available at wdt.edu/HotCareer.
“The All-Program Camp gives students the opportunity to explore a wide range of career paths in a supportive, hands-on environment,” said Melissa Ginsbach, WDTC Interim Director of Admissions. “It’s designed to help students gain clarity and confidence as they think about their next steps after high school.”
