Register Today to Attend College Visit Night on Tues., Dec. 6

Whether you are getting ready to graduate high school, looking to change careers, or upgrade career skills, plan to attend Western Dakota Technical College's (WDTC) upcoming College Visit Night to see how attending the college can benefit you. College Visit Night will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m., on Tues., Dec. 6.

College Visit Night provides an engaging opportunity to learn about WDTC's more than 40 career programs, tour campus, meet instructors, and visit with Admissions, Financial Aid, and Scholarship representatives.

At WDTC, you can earn a degree in two years or less, have the opportunity to make more money upon graduation than with a high school diploma or GED alone, and put yourself in the position to land a Hot Career* as defined by the South Dakota Department of Labor. (*Careers with many openings and high pay in the state.) Great scholarships and Financial Aid are available at WDTC.

About Western Dakota Technical College

Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC) was established in 1968 and is the only technical college serving the western South Dakota region.

WDTC offers more than 40 programs in a variety of fields, including Business and Computers, Construction and Manufacturing, Energy and Environmental Technologies, Health Sciences, Legal and Public Services, and Transportation Technologies.

Ninety-nine percent of Western Dakota Tech's most recent graduates are working, continuing their education, or are enlisted in the military, per the WDTC 2021 Placement Report. There were 326 respondents out of 380 graduates surveyed. [*Placement information is derived from graduate surveys, faculty-collected data, placement surveys started six months after graduation, and the South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation. Overall placement rate is figured by: (responding graduates employed, continuing education, or in military service)/(responding graduates who are seeking employment).
