Event Can Assist Students in Finding the Right Career Fit 

Whether you are a high school junior or senior who knows what you want to do following graduation, or you are not quite sure, plan to attend the Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC) Career Expo, Wednesday, Oct. 11. The FREE event will take place from 8:30 a.m. to noon, in the Rushmore 5 room, in The Monument.

The Monument is located at 444 N. Mt. Rushmore Rd., in Rapid City.

WDTC Named 2023 Great College to Work For & Additionally Earns Honor Roll Designation

Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC) has been named a “2023 Great College to Work For” by the Great Colleges to Work For® program. Additionally, the college earned the Great Colleges Honor Roll designation - a status granted to only 42 colleges each year that are highlighted most across the recognition categories. These honors put WDTC in elite company.

Degree Programs

Established in 1968, Western Dakota Technical College is the only technical college that serves the western South Dakota region. The college delivers a personal, career-oriented education ideal for the student pursuing a meaningful profession and prideful future. Faculty, staff, and administration are committed to teaching the knowledge, skills, and behaviors students need to find be successful. Ninety-nine percent of Western Dakota Technical College's most recent graduates are working, continuing their education, or are enlisted in the military. We pride ourselves on providing the best possible facilities and technology and recently completed a significant expansion to the campus. Through hands-on learning, simulation, internships, and industry partnerships, our students graduate ready to make a real and immediate contribution to their employers and communities.
