WDTC Board of Trustees Leadership Elected for 2022-23; Additional Board Updates Announced

The Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC) Board of Trustees has elected its leadership for 2022-2023, selected two members to serve an additional term on the Board, and filled a vacant seat.

Public Notice - Law Enforcement Training Academy Scheduled for Assessment as Part of Program to Achieve Accreditation

The Western Dakota Technical College Law Enforcement Training Academy (WDTC LETA) is scheduled for a web-based assessment as part of a program to achieve accreditation by verifying it meets professional standards. This is normally an on-site assessment, however, due to challenges associated with COVID, the assessment will be conducted remotely.

More Than 250 Students Named to WDTC's Spring Semester 2022 Dean's List

Western Dakota Technical College congratulates the more than 250 students named to the Spring Semester 2022 Dean's List. To qualify, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a minimum of 12 credit hours in a given semester.

The Dean's List begins with South Dakota students followed by additional states.

Established in 1968, Western Dakota Technical College is the only technical college that serves the western South Dakota region. The college delivers a personal, career-oriented education ideal for the student pursuing a meaningful profession and prideful future. Faculty, staff, and administration are committed to teaching the knowledge, skills, and behaviors students need to find be successful. Ninety-nine percent of Western Dakota Technical College's most recent graduates are working, continuing their education, or are enlisted in the military. We pride ourselves on providing the best possible facilities and technology and recently completed a significant expansion to the campus. Through hands-on learning, simulation, internships, and industry partnerships, our students graduate ready to make a real and immediate contribution to their employers and communities
