The WDTC Simulation Center features the latest in high-fidelity patient simulators. This allows us to present a wide range of real-world scenarios with no risk to students or patients.

CAE Fidelis™

CAE “Apollo” Simulator

A wireless adult male patient SIM that delivers simulation-based healthcare training meeting nursing and prehospital learning objectives. For more information on Apollo, please visit CAE's website.

Lucina Maternal Fetal Simulator

A wireless childbirth simulator with maternal-fetal physiology and interchangeable parts to train on all the stages of labor and delivery. Lucina offers a realistic and controllable birthing process, articulation for labor and delivery maneuvers, and predicted APGAR score based on the integrated maternal-fetal physiology. CAE “Caesar” Simulator

A wireless adult SIM that offers multiple training features for advanced practice in point-of-care medical treatment. Caesar prepares first responders, medics, and military medical personnel to deliver life-saving trauma patient care in harsh and challenging environments. iStan “Stan the Man” Simulator

A wireless adult SIM that is certified for inflight use aboard major military aircraft. It boasts high-quality features, including flail chest, cyanosis, and detectable range of cervical motion. iStan can also support controlled asynchronous mechanical ventilation for advanced training scenarios. METIMan Pre-Hospital “Travelin’ Frank” Simulator
