Professional Truck Driving Program Celebrating 30 Years of Excellence

Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC) is proud to announce the 30th anniversary of its Professional Truck Driving Program. To mark this milestone, WDTC invites past students, instructors, and the public to an open house celebration on Sat., Sept. 13, from 10 a.m. to noon in Badlands Hall.

The event will feature:
  • A showcase of WDTC’s trucks and trailers, including some of the original 1995 vehicles still in use today.
  • A “memory lane” photo display highlighting three decades of program history.
  • Opportunities to learn more about WDTC’s truck driving program and career training.
  • Refreshments and fellowship with current and past members of the WDTC truck driving community.
Since its start in 1995, the WDTC Professional Truck Driving Program has trained more than 1,400 drivers. The program is recognized as a Registered Training Provider for Entry Level Driver Training, preparing students to meet industry standards and the high demand for skilled professional drivers.

The open house is free and open to the public. Registration is requested at https://tinyurl.com/w2x6s82e.
