The Collegiate Advertising Awards (CAA) is a prestigious competition that honors excellence in higher education communications, marketing, advertising, and promotional efforts across the United States and Canada. This year’s program received entries from a wide range of colleges and universities, from small community colleges to large institutions and university systems. Submissions were evaluated by a national panel of industry professionals and scored on a 100-point scale.
Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC) competed against institutions of similar size within designated categories and divisions. The college earned a Gold Award for its College Viewbook in the brochure, folded-panel category. Gold Awards earn a score of 95 to 99 (top 5% in the nation).
The WDTC Viewbook was written and designed by the WDTC Marketing Department, including Tristen Koehne, Marketing and Website Coordinator, and Pamela Stillman-Rokusek, Marketing Director. Ro-Sham-Bo Creative contributed to the development of brand identity elements which were incorporated.
Awards are presented to entries receiving the highest scores in the nation for advertising excellence. Entries were judged on criteria including creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality, and overall appeal.
Representing all areas of communications, media, marketing, advertising, and promotion, the 2025 Collegiate Advertising Awards showcased some of the strongest and most innovative work in higher education marketing today.
The Collegiate Advertising Awards is proud to recognize the outstanding creative achievements of Western Dakota Technical College.
All winners are posted on the Collegiate Advertising Awards website at www.CollegiateAdAwards.com.
