RAPID CITY, SD - Scholarship donors and partners will be recognized for their generous contributions to students and Western Dakota Tech at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, April 27, in the college's new event center.Those recognized during the Partnership Appreciation Reception will include more than 60 individual and business donors who have given anywhere from $500 to $100,000 and more since 2001. Several honor awards will also be announced.
Dick Johnson, West River Electric CEO, will provide the Partner Address. Dominique Lawrence, first-year Western Dakota Tech Computer-Aided Drafting Technician student, will give the Student Address. Western Dakota Tech speakers will include Ann Bolman, Ed.D., Western Dakota Tech President, and Aaron Jacobs, Western Dakota Tech Foundation Development Director.
"We look forward to spotlighting those who have given so much through the years to benefit our students and Western Dakota Tech," Jacobs said.
