This workshop is presented over two days a week apart to all time for reflection and planning between sessions.

AWS Certified Welder Program
Western Dakota Technical College is now an AWS Accredited Test Facility. This accreditation allows WDTC to administer qualification testing to comply with the AWS Certified Welder Program.
To become an AWS Certified Welder, the qualification tests must be administered by an AWS ATF.
To become and AWS ATF, the facility must create and comply with a quality assurance program, which meets the high standards of quality as set forth by the AWS. This includes quality controls for base metals and consumables, welding and test equipment, personnel, welding procedures, and the testing processes.
All full time students enrolled in the WDTC Welding and Fabrication program take welder qualification tests, and may earn AWS Welder Certifications as a part of the curriculum. WDTC is also offering welder qualification testing to outside applicants.
