WDTC Enters Articulation Agreement with SD Mines Benefiting Environmental Engineering Tech Graduates

Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC) President Dr. Kendra Ericson, center, and South Dakota Mines President Dr. Brian Tande, left, have signed an articulation agreement that allows WDTC Environmental Engineering Technician graduates to transfer credits directly into Mines’ bachelor’s degree program in Civil Engineering. This partnership provides a clear path for WDTC graduates to continue their education and advance in their careers. WDTC EET Program DirectorAlex Rosburg, right, attended the signing event, at Mines, on Aug. 13.

“This agreement with South Dakota Mines creates a clear path for our environmental engineering technician graduates to continue their education and expand their career opportunities,” Dr. Ericson said. “By combining Western Dakota Technical College’s hands-on training with South Dakota Mines’ advanced engineering expertise, this partnership will prepare highly skilled graduates who will be able to contribute to the economic and environmental well-being of South Dakota and the surrounding region. We thank everyone whose efforts helped make this opportunity a reality for the benefit of our students.”
