Peer tutoring is available for Western Dakota Tech students for General Education subjects. Additional subjects may be provided upon request. Peer tutors are current students at Western Dakota Tech who have received at least a 3.0 GPA in all tutoring subjects. They can tutor up to groups of 3 on the same subject. Tutoring at Western Dakota Tech provides a supplement to classroom instruction, fosters independent learning, and assists students in improving their academic skills.
All tutoring takes place in the Student Success Center area of the Western Dakota Tech Library. Walk-ins are welcome and appointments are encouraged. Appointments can be made with individual tutors, but appointments must still be at Western Dakota Tech.
