Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC) students showcased their outstanding career and technical skills at the SkillsUSA South Dakota Skills Championships, April 10–11, in Mitchell. Competing against peers from Lake Area Technical College, Mitchell Technical College, and Southeast Technical College, WDTC students earned top honors—placing in 11 different events and earning an impressive 19 event medals.

Western Dakota Technical College is proud to announce a one-of-a-kind sustainability-focused event, the Rapid City Earth Day Expo, on April 26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The admissions free event will bring together the community for a day of family-friendly fun, sustainability education, and hands-on activities. The Expo is co-hosted by South Dakota Mines, Rapid City Sustainability, and Dakota Rural Action, and will take place at Western Dakota Technical College on 800 Mickelson Dr.

Attend Visit Day on Saturday, April 12

Western Dakota Technical College (WDTC) invites the public to explore its campus and career programs during College Visit Day on Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to noon. Those interested are encouraged to register now at wdt.edu/visit.

If you are a high school junior or senior undecided about the career you want to pursue, register today at wdt.edu/camps to attend Western Dakota Technical College’s (WDTC) FREE One Day All-Program Camp. The career exploration camp will take place on the WDTC campus, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, March 20. Lunch will be provided.

The deadline to register for this popular camp is Tuesday, March 18.
